‘Astu Vrutham Subham Sada’ - Sree Kerala Varma College greets you with these words at its entrance which is now the motto of the college. The college rightly named after His Highness Sree Kerala Varma, the then Cochin Maharaja was established in the year 1947 on August 11th hardly 4 days before Indian independence.

Within two years of its formation Sree Kerala Varma College had made its mark in the education sector of the State.

Sree Kerala Varama College after completing 60 years is one of the most prestigious and outstanding Educational Institute of our State in terms of students’ strength and the variety of courses it offers. Whether it’s Literature, Science, Politics, Cinema, Theatre, Music, Sports or any other walk of life, Sree Kerala Varma College has contributed immensely and its students are there to be seen in every nook and corner of the world and continue to do so. With over 18.5 acres of natural greenery and with scenic landscape Sree Kerala Varma College has been a nostalgic remembrance to all the Old Students living in this part of the world, which keeps us together.

 SKVC OSA UAE Chapter has contributed immensely to the formation and functioning of AKCAF and has been always in the forefront in its activities and still going strong in its 11th year in the UAE with over 350 registered members.
